Individual Therapy

Here at Rockpool Psychology we know that different people have different needs therefore we tailor therapy to your individual needs drawing on a range of evidence based therapeutic approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT), Narrative Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Depending on your preference and on availability, appointments can be: in person, via telephone or online (or a combination). Outdoor therapy appointments are also now an option.

Workshops can be a great way to provide information and practical strategies, as well as an opportunity for helpful conversations and support from other people who understand the challenges you are facing. Check out our upcoming workshops here

We understand attending a group can be a daunting step; however, we aim to provide a welcoming and supportive environment where you can feel safe and encouraged to explore your concerns around food and your body however you feel comfortable to do so. A group can reduce the sense of isolation you may feel regarding your concerns, offer a space to focus on you as well as providing support from others who have similar aims and goals. 

Teaching and training packages are derived from evidenced based theory and practice, research and clinical experience. We can offer bespoke packages to meet your requirements and are happy to discuss your training needs.
